The Spruce Hill Community Association is an all-volunteer organization that brings neighbors together to strengthen and improve Spruce Hill. Please join us and get involved on a committee, as a block representative, or on a special task force to tackle specific community concerns. Here are some current volunteer opportunities:
 

Education, child care issues
Young families settling in Spruce Hill are finding it harder and harder to obtain child care or after-school care, and the current baby boom also has raised concerns about future enrollments and class size at the Penn Alexander School. Join members of the Education, Schools & Youth committee as they work on a broad range of responses to these issues. Contact Mary Goldman.
 
Become a block representative
The community association acts as the neighborhood’s eyes and ears. Lend us yours by volunteering to become a block representative. Block reps help to organize cleanups, welcome new neighbors onto the block, alert the association to local concerns or zoning issues, and spread information about community issues.
