50th Annual May Fair

We've begun planning for the 50th annual Spruce Hill May Fair on Saturday, May 10, from 11am until 4pm in Clark Park, 43rd and Baltimore. Join us for an afternoon of music, children's games, vendors with everything from crafts and plants to information about important community initiatives. Hotel Project at 40th & Pine

The SHCA Zoning Committee held a public meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 13, to gather public comment on a proposed extended-stay hotel at 40th and Pine streets. The $30 million redevelopment project, a project of developer Tom Lussenhop, includes a restaurant and retail space. The architect is the firm of Atkin Olshin Schade. Following the presentations, the developer and neighbors opposed to scope of the project agreed to continue discussions. The Zoning Committee will discuss the project only after all negotiations are completed.

Playground for Wilson School

The SHCA Education and Youth Committee has been working with parents and administrators at Wilson elementary school to find resources to build a playground. If you are interested in helping with this project, please contact Mary Goldman
